Hagerstown recently merged with the two-store Clugston Ag
& Turf, Inc. John Deere dealership in Chambersburg and
Carlisle, Pennsylvania. This merging of two solid,
stable dealerships promises to bring customers better
satisfaction with parts, sales, as well as service. The
newly merged three-store dealership is enjoying the
process of sharing information and ideas in service, a
larger list of items stocked for parts and sales between
three stores, and the depth of experienced personnel
available in each and every department. As the merge of
Landmark Equipment took place, Stoneham's Inc., the
John Deere lawn & garden dealership in Waynesboro,
closed. Many of the Stoneham's Inc. employees were hired
to work at either the Hagerstown or Chambersburg
Landmark Equipment
location.
Cumberland Bobcat, the third store of the
Clugston Ag & Turf, Inc. dealership, closed its doors on
November 16, 2007. On November 30, 2007, Landmark
Equipment at Carlisle and Chambersburg discontinued the
Bobcat construction equipment line. On December 1, 2007,
Landmark Equipment proudly rolled out the complete John
Deere skid loader, excavator, and attachment line at
Carlisle and Chambersburg. The John Deere skid loader
and excavator line was already in place at the
Hagerstown location.
